The apartment is located just a short walk to the Kremlin/Red Square/St.Basil's. If you prefer the sights and sounds of the big city, this is a great location. The traffic noise on Tverskaya street can be a bit loud if you are a light sleeper. The apartment itself was clean but in need of a freshening. The kitchen is small but functional and everything worked. Overall, if you are looking for a relatively inexpensive place to stay near the city center, this apartment is worth considering. If you are looking for the equivalent of a modern hotel with a kitchen, this is not going to meet your expectations. As an aside, everything we requested (iron, cell phone, etc.) was delivered as promised. Also, the free international phone calls were reliable and clear. We did not have any issues with the hot water as noted below.

This apartment is in a great location and since it's situated on the sixth floor and off a pedestrian street, it's also relatively quiet.
However, the apartment itself is not great. The water temperature in the bathroom was a rather persistent problem throughout the week of our stay. Some days and some moments, the cold water worked. However, most of the time, the water in the bathtub, in particular, was extremely hot and uncomfortable. The drawer in the refrigerator did not work well either.
